Eisenwood created a stunning tile wall for the Richard King Mellon Foundation in Pittsburgh’s Strip District.
Each individually engraved and painted tile is mounted at varying depths on a drilled metal panel, forming a textured, dynamic design.
Using CNC technology, we achieved precise cuts and crisp engravings, while hand-painting and finishing added depth and character.

Durability was a key consideration. The drilled metal panel serves as a stable backing, while the layered tile system allows the artwork to maintain its structure over time. This ensures that the installation is not only beautiful but also built to endure in a busy public space.
The result is a blend of precision and craftsmanship—built to last and designed to make a lasting impression.
